Some time ago, my husband and I were both working at a Private school in Kwazulu Natal in South Africa, and both longing to retire to the village of Himeville. He still had two years to go till retirement.
I was sitting at my desk one day when I was overwhelmed with a strong sense of the Holy Spirit and the sensed words” It’s time to go”.
I shared the word with my husband and we knew we needed to be obedient. We handed in our notice took a deep breath and jobless arrived at our home in Himeville. Within weeks he was offered a teaching post, opened his own garden service and I was offered a nursing post at the local Private hospital.
We have never been in want and I have moved into Pastoral Counselling and never been happier. The Lord stretches us and blesses us in equal measure. I pray He continues to do so.
